Executive Compensation at the Alzheimers Association (2019)

The Alzheimers Disease and Related Disorders is commonly referred to as the Alzheimers Association. A tax-exempt, non-profit 501 (c) 3 whose goal is to eliminate Alzheimers Disease through research but also offer support, information/public awareness, and education on the disease, raised $390 million in 2019, primarily from contributions, gifts, and grants ($366 million including $24 million from the government).

Executive Compensation at the Alzheimers Association

The Alzheimers Association was established in 1980 and is based in Chicago, Illinois although there are 81 chapters in communities nationwide that provide information, referrals, support groups, care consultation, education and safety services to families and professionals.

The Chicago-based organization oversees the chapters and is primarily engaged in raising funds to provide patient and family care information, advocacy, and fund research. The Alzheimers Association reported employing 2,307 employees who were compensated $160.8 million in 2016, which equates to an average of $70,000 each.
