The LenkaBar
York, Pennsylvania may be well-known as “The White Rose City” but many people don’t know that York is also the home of Lenka’s Fresh Snacks, the maker of LenkaBars: granola bars made with organic granola and fresh, natural ingredients. It all started in Mom’s (Lenka’s) kitchen six years ago with her recipes for homemade granola bars that called for the freshest ingredients. The popularity of the bars grew and although LenkaBars are now made in a commercial grade kitchen, Lenka still makes the bars using her unique recipes in small batches.
The base of each of the four types of LenkaBars is an organic granola made with all organic ingredients to which other natural ingredients are added. The Cranberry LenkaBar and the Nuts and Berries LenkaBar start with an organic granola base made of organic rolled whole oats, organic naturally milled sugar, organic expeller pressed canola oil, organic raisins, organic oat flour, organic cinnamon, and organic nutmeg; while the Berry Omega LenkaBar and the Omega LenkaBar start with an organic granola base made of organic whole rolled oats, organic naturally milled sugar, organic expeller pressed canola oil, organic crisp brown rice with rice syrup, organic sunflower seeds, organic maple syrup, organic oat flour, organic maple flavor, organic vanilla flavor and salt.
The ingredients of each LenkaBar includes:
Cranberry: Made of organic granola , cranberries, honey, raisins, chocolate chips, brown sugar, butter, and pure vanilla extract.
Nuts and Berries: Made of organic granola, honey, cranberries, raisins, chocolate chips, peanuts, coconut, salted cashews, almonds, brown sugar, butter, and vanilla extract.
