ChocAlive Truffles
There are four basic food groups: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, and chocolate truffles. A Chocolate Enthusiast
The chocolate truffle: rich, decadent, creamy, and fresh. Leave it to the French to invent a confectionary that contains obscene amounts of cream and chocolate but credit a few Americans at ChocAlive for making an exquisite vegan, dairy-free raw chocolate truffle that is as gratifying to your taste buds as it is satisfying to your body. ChocAlive truffles contain only the highest quality plant-based raw and organic ingredients including Medjool dates, cacao, coconut, agave nectar, and almonds.
ChocAlive Truffles are made in Brewster, New York by a talented group of chocoholics committed to providing an alternative to the traditional processed chocolate truffle. By using what nature gives us and crafting the ingredients at low temperatures to maintain live enzymes, minerals, and other vital nutrients, the company is able to make a chocolate truffle that is healthy and delicious.
There are five varieties of ChocAlive Truffles: Dark Chocolate, Dark Chocolate Crunch, Chocolate Almond, Chocolate Coconut, and Chocolate Chip Mint. The truffles are packaged in 6 piece (3 ounces) boxes (2 boxes for $15 or 4 boxes for $25), 8 ounce bags ($18) and 1 pound bags ($34), plus shipping. To order on-line, go to the company website: www.chocalive.com.
The truffles can also be purchased at retail locations in the northeast and California where a Specialty Sampler (a variety mix of Chocolate Almond, Chocolate Coconut, and Chocolate Crunch) is also offered. Chocolate Chip Mint Truffles are available at retail locations although from time to time, they are offered as a limited edition flavor on the website. Hi Clairice: Good question…I don’t know if the site is down for updating or if they are no longer operating. I have seen their products in Whole Foods recently. My best suggestion is to keep checking their website.
Are they out of business? None of their url destinations seem to be working.
LOVE.
