The University of Texas at Austin is also known as “UT Austin” (note: Austin is the flagship school of the University of Texas System which includes 13 UT institutions). With about 51,000 students (42,000 undergraduate and 9,000 graduate), tuition, room and board for in-state students are approximately $35,000 annually while out-of-state students pay approximately $65,000 for tuition, room and board.
UT Austin is often in the news or on the lists of the top largest university endowments because they have a $43 billion endowment (as of 2021) which is second to Harvard who has $50 billion. Executive Compensation at Texas Christian University (2022)
Texas Christian University (TCU) is a private, tax-exempt non-profit research university in Fort Worth, Texas that is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Approximately 11,000 undergraduate and 2,000 graduate students are pursuing 114 undergraduate areas of study and 98 graduate degrees on the 300 acre campus a few miles from downtown Fort Worth.
Tuition, room and board are approximately $80,000 annually for an undergraduate student (with about 80% receiving financial aid). With an acceptance rate of 40% (20,000 applications in 2022 of which 8,000 were accepted, and about 3,000 chose to attend), TCU counts about 55% of its students coming from out of state. Read more

Dignity Health is part of the CommonSpirit Health System (In 2019, Dignity Health merged with Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) to become one of the largest tax-exempt, non-profit healthcare systems in the United States). With more than 60,000 employees staffing 400 care centers and 39 hospitals in 21 states, Dignity Health is based in San Francisco, CA (whereas CommonSpirit Health is based in Chicago, IL). Although Dignity Health has numerous related/affiliated non-profits, taxable corporations and trusts, this post is limited to addressing the executive compensation of Dignity Health, an affiliate of CommonSpirit Health. The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is a tax-exempt, non-profit 501 (c) 6 is a Chamber of Commerce of sorts for small and independent businesses across the country.
Based in Nashville, TN, NFIB is managed by 11 voting members (directors) of the governing body, 10 of whom are independent, 9 (82%) of whom are male while 2 (18%) are female. Read more 
Executive Compensation at St Joseph Health System (2022)
St. Joseph Health System (SJH) is a California-based non-profit, tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) that is part of Washington-based Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH). Affiliated with the Catholic church, SJH is an integrated healthcare system serving residents in northern California with 5 hospitals, 1 medical center, and numerous healthcare facilities staffed by thousands of employees. Note: SJH which also served West Texas and East New Mexico merged with Providence Health and Services (PH&S) to form PSJH in 2016.
SJH “governs and manages the healthcare system” which means the organizations that make up the network (111 tax-exempt non-profit organizations, 49 organizations taxable as partnerships, and 47 organizations taxable as corporations or trusts) are a source of revenue in exchange for oversight.
