UNICEF is one of the most well-known charities in the world. Formed in 1947, UNICEF in the US is based in New York City. In 2016, the United States Fund for UNICEF raised $553 million – an increase of $53 million more than in 2015 – and most of which came from contributions, gifts, and grants.
