The Purple Harmony Pillow
When I used to walk through an airport and see someone tugging along a pillow with the pillowcase billowing in their wake, I often stared and wondered if the pillow was for comfort, familiarity, or even a germ thing? I didn’t get it because for decades, I could rest my head on any pillow and get a decent nights sleep. But then things changed; I got older and started feeling tightness or discomfort if my head and neck were not properly supported, all of which started me on a search for the perfect pillow.
I read reviews, went to mattress stores, consulted people who were picky about their pillow, and tried dozens of pillows over the past few years but never found the right one…until a few weeks ago. I read about the Purple Harmony pillow and was intrigued. The company does a great job of describing this game changer of a pillow:
The Purple Harmony Pillow features a layer of honeycomb-patterned Purple Grid® Hex surrounding a supportive inner core of hypoallergenic ventilated latex. Wrapped in moisture-wicking Breeze Mesh material, the no-pressure, supportive combo offers cool comfort all night long and never falls flat. (We’re not lying when we say it’s the Greatest Pillow Ever Invented!)
The pillow comes in standard and king in three sizes: Low (5.5 inches), Medium (6.5 inches) and Tall (7.5 inches) with your choice based on how you sleep (on your side, back, or stomach), the size of your frame, and height preference.
For me, the ideal choice was the medium, 6.5 inch pillow. From the moment (literally) I put my head on that pillow, I knew I found the pillow of my dreams. My neck and head felt cradled and cool and I fell asleep within minutes and woke up feeling completely rested.
Winner of the 2021 Good Housekeeping Best Bedding Awards, the Purple Harmony pillow is hands down the most comfortable pillow I have every slept on which now officially makes me one of those crazy pillow people who travels with their pillow.
Each pillow is $159 but 10% is taken off of both if you buy two pillows. Go to www.purple.com.
