Bragg’s Salad Dressings

Many people believe that a salad is not complete without a tasty salad dressing so the choice becomes whether to make a homemade version, which can be intimidating because there are so many decisions to make regarding the choice of ingredients (type of oil, vinegar, herbs, juices, spices) and determining the right combinations, or buy a pre-made salad dressing, which can be a huge timesaver (especially if empty salad dressing bottles are not in your kitchen inventory).

Walk down the grocery store aisle with row upon row of salad dressings and the whole process of choosing a healthy and tasty salad dressing can be overwhelming. The goal is to choose a salad dressing with two attributes:  healthy ingredients and a yummy taste, which is difficult to find. Most salad dressings fall short but there are several salad dressings made by Bragg’s that not only taste great but also have an impressive ingredients list with no preservatives, chemicals, additives, or salt. The four (4) varieties include:

This dressing has s tangy zesty flavor and is an all-purpose salad dressing. Each tablespoon has 45 calories, 4.5 grams of fat, 1 gram of sugar, and 30 mg of sodium.. My favorite Bragg dressing.


Ginger and Sesame:  Made with organic apple cider, organic extra virgin olive oil, liquid aminos, organic honey, organic lemon juice, organic garlic, organic ginger, organic sesame seeds, and natural xanthan gum. Each tablespoon has 45 calories, 4.5 grams of fat, 1 gram of sugar, and 85 mg of sodium. Great to use with an Asian salad or slaw.

Hawaiian: This fat-free dressing is a favorite of those who prefer a salad dressing without olive oil. Made with purified water and organic ingredients: apple cider vinegar, mango puree, pineapple juice concentrate, rice starch, apple juice concentrate, lime juice, Hawaiian ginger, passion fruit juice concentrate, Hawaiian noni juice and stevia extract, this dressing can also be used as a marinade. Braggberry: A fat-free dressing with the great taste of berries. Made with purified water and organic ingredients: apple cider vinegar, Concord grape juice concentrate, pomegranate juice concentrate, rice starch, blueberry juice concentrate, red raspberry puree, apple juice concentrate, lemon juice, acai berry puree, goji berry juice, and stevia extract.
