Awesome Bars

by Anne Paddock

You can’t fake awesome.                                                                                                       ~Awesome Bars

If you happen to look up the word “awesome” in the dictionary, the definition will be “something that inspires awe, wonder, or excitement” so it seems especially appropriate that a company who makes granola bars that cause some very serious excitement, call themselves and their products “Awesome Bars.”

awesomebarsAwesome Bars are delicious energy bars made with oats, nuts, dried fruit (sulfite free), seeds, unsweetened coconut flakes, dark chocolate, agave nectar, brown sugar, coconut oil, and sea salt. But what makes them different from the hundreds of other granola bars on the market? Their awesomeness, of course.AwesomeBarCoconutPecanPackaging900_grande

When certified organic oats and flax seeds are combined with roasted pecans, cashews, peanuts, or almonds and other wholesome ingredients like dried tart cherries, blueberries, raisins, or cranberries and, of course dark chocolate, the result is as the company says “more awesome than a cat riding a unicorn.” So, break on through to the awesome side and enjoy an Awesome Bar.AwesomeBarSaltyPeanutPack900_grande

Awesome Bars come in five varieties:

A perfect snack for that mid-afternoon pick me up, Awesome Bars sell for approximately $2.50 each from the company’s on-line store:  www.youcantfakeawesome.com.
