Wildway Grain-Free Instant Hot Cereal

by Anne Paddock

We are challenging the status quo with a wildly different approach to breakfast and snack foods.

The innovative and creative minds at the San Antonio, Texas-based Wildway believe in fueling bodies with high quality nutrition with nutrient-dense food because “it’s not just about the calories, it’s about how our bodies can use real food ingredients to thrive and get the most out of life.” With that principle in mind, Wildway created five grain-free instant hot cereals by starting with a base of 7 ingredients: walnuts, ground flaxseed, cashews, coconut flour, pecans, dried dates, and vanilla bean, and then adding cinnamon, cocoa nibs, coconut, freeze dried blueberries, or espresso.

Wildway_Grain-Free_Instant_Hot_CerealsWildway Grain-Free Instant Hot Cereals have no added sugar or sweeteners, are grain, wheat, and gluten-free, non-GMO and wildly delicious (and not too sweet). The ingredients are ground to be an alternative to instant oatmeal and grain cereals so the contents actually look similar to instant oatmeal when poured into a bowl. But, from there the paths diverge. Wildway’s instant hot cereals have a higher calorie and fat content because of the nuts and seeds and this is what will keep you feeling full longer, and the taste is nuttier and more flavorful than oatmeal (although full disclosure…I still adore oatmeal).

With four 1.75-ounce packets per box, Wildway’s instant cereals can boast of being high in protein (6-7 grams per serving), low in natural occurring sugar (4-6 grams), low in sodium (less than 20 mg per serving), and high in dietary fiber (7-8 grams).

As true as their name – Wildway – suggests, the company only uses 100% natural, non-GMO, wild cultivated ingredients. No syrups, no extracts, and no oils– just pure, whole foods to make 5 delicious instant hot cereals:

To make, simply empty the packet contents into a bowl. Add 1/2 – 3/4 cup of hot water or your choice of milk (almond or cashew milk is delicious), stir and enjoy. Enjoy as is or top with fresh fruit, granola, nut butter, or more nuts and seeds. The grab-and-go packets make it easy to take along on life’s wild adventures!Wildway_Hot_Cereal
