POMONA Organic Pure Beet Juice

by Anne Paddock

Beet juice may boost stamina to help you exercise longer, improve blood flow, and help lower blood pressure some research shows. Why? Beets are rich in natural chemicals called nitrates. Through a chain reaction, your body changes nitrates into nitric oxide, which helps with blood flow and blood pressure. ~WebMD

Beet juice is not on any top ten juice list that I am aware of but that could change as more and more people realize the benefits of beet juice, especially for athletes.  According to Nutrition Facts (www.nutritionfacts.org), consuming beet juice has been shown to improve athletic ability and endurance which is an amazing finding (click here to watch the 2-minute video entitled “Doping With Beet Juice“).  In addition, consider watching a short video entitled “Whole Beets versus Juice for Improving Athletic Performance” and “Oxygenating Blood with Nitrate Rich Vegetables.”

The only problem is that people tend to fall into two groups: those who like beets and those who don’t and the ones in the latter group, seem to really detest the stuff.  But, if you happen to fall into the former category, consider choosing an organic pure beet juice with no additives because beet juices vary in quality and taste.

The best beet juice on the market (in my opinion) is POMONA Organic Pure Beet Juice. This smooth delicious juice is USDA certified organic, cold-pressed, not from concentrate, pure juice, with nothing added and “everything gained.”  And a final note:  chill the juice before consuming.

POMONA Organic Pure Beet Juice is sold in 8 ounce glass containers (12 bottles for $45 at Amazon with free shipping for Prime members).
