Organic Figgy Pops

by Anne Paddock

When your snack is this real, freedom is yours.

Made in Nature should win an award for the most original and fun snack name – Figgy Pops – but what they really deserve is an award for is for making one of the best organic unbaked energy balls on the market. Figgy Pops are bite-sized super snacks made with organic fruits, nuts, seeds, and spices. If nature made candy, then Figgy Pops would be growing from trees but instead we can thank Made in Nature for combining the best of Mother Nature’s most delicious gifts to make Figgy Pops.

Figgy Pops come in five delicious flavors, made with all organic ingredients:

Cranberry Pistachio:  Sun-dried apricots, sweet dates and tart cranberries combined with crunchy pistachios and four types of seeds (pepita, sunflower, chia and sesame), coconut, figs, coconut oil, cinnamon, ginger, and a touch of sea salt are used to make these sweet, tangy, and crunchy energy balls.

Choco Crunch:  Dates, figs, and tart cherries are teamed up with two types of seeds (pepita and sunflower), cocoa, coconut, coconut oil, cacao nibs, Madagascar Bourbon vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sea salt to come up with nature’s answer to a chocolate bon-bon.  Betcha you can’t eat just one.

Tart Cherry Fig:  My favorite Figgy Pop and the true original super snack.  Figs, dates, and tart cherries are combined with cashews, walnuts, coconut, gluten-free oats, coconut, coconut oil, cacao nibs, maple syrup, cinnamon and sea salt.

Sweet, tart, crunchy, nutty, and addicting.  This is food for the Gods and Goddesses of the world.

Mangoberry: A plethora of fruits:  apricots, dates, mangoes, golden berries, raisins, and figs are blended with crunchy pepita and sunflower seeds, gluten-free oats, coconut, coconut oil, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom, and sea salt to make these fruity energy balls.  If nature celebrated Thanksgiving, these would be served for dessert.

Apple Cinnamon:  Dates, apples, figs, raisins, and cranberries are blended with pepita and sunflower seeds, coconut, coconut oil, sunflower oil, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom, and sea salt to make nature’s answer to apple pie.

Figgy Pops are sold in 4.2 ounce resealable packets (9 energy balls per bag) for about $5 and 20 ounce packets (45 energy balls per bag) for about $15 on-line at www.madeinmature.com (orders of $49 and over are shipped free) and at retailers nationwide including Whole Foods Market.
